4 - Panoramic photography
1 / The framing structure
Do not center the subject. To center the subject leads the eye to look directly at the subject and not to look around there.
Example:
The fact that decenter the Eiffel Tower on the second third of the photo will enhance the other components of the image, including buildings.

Compose the image foregrounds and backgrounds. This helps to highlight the subject, and provide depth of field photography.
Example:
The fountain and the wall, then the trees and finally the buildings at the bottom

Do not fit too tight. An image needs to breathe, be sure to leave space around the subject.
Example:

2 / The light or how to capture beautiful color
Morning and evening are usually the best times. The light is neither too weak nor too strong. The colors are many.
Example:
Morning:

Evening:

3 / People
Taking photos of landscapes or buildings is good. Taking pictures of the local population is better! Outside it is normal to feel a certain uncomfortable to shoot people you do not know to turn a corner.
In most countries, people allow themselves to shoot if they ask permission before, and sometimes against a small tip. Asking help prepare and the result will be better.
Example:
Portrait of a worker in the region of Java in Indonesia.

4 - Panoramic photography
The panoramic camera has 2 advantages: giving extra touch to your trip photos by changing the format and give perspective to the point of view. Typically, this type of picture applies to the landscape but it can also be seen in close enough.
In practice, we must take a series of photos in portrait mode the whole scene, taking care to superimpose images together. Integrate all this into a panorama generation software (Microsoft Ice is very good and free), edit, and voila.
Example:
Here the landscape as I see it:

Unfortunately, my camera allows me to take the landscape in this corner there, even with a wide angle:

The idea is to take a series of photos in portrait on horseback on each other, to gather the whole scene:

In this example, we have 10 pictures that we will integrate in one software. Here is Microsoft Ice:

The software automatically gives a first result:

It is possible to adjust the angle and framing:

Finally, apply the final crop, export, and here is the result !
